Civil Draftsman

Summary of Position

Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Civil Draftsman who will support the technical team in preparing the formwork drawings of concrete outlines. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing the structure formwork drawings by using latest AutoCAD, 2D software
  • Interacting regularly with team members and engineers to understand the design requirements and making appropriate CAD actions
  • Preparing the general layout with coordinates
  • Complying with the graphic charts
  • Controlling local technical documents 
  • Retrieving and filing document both as electronic and hard copies
  • Additional Preparation of Ad-hoc reports and tasks upon requirement

Reporting to

  • Process Design Manager and Civil Design Manager

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer or relevant
  • Having 3-5 years’ experience in construction industry
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, (latest version)
  • Excellent attention to detail, willing to learn and cooperative and handling tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Good in English is a must. French is a plus
