Chief Partnership Distribution Officer
Summary of Position
Our client is one of the leading life insurance companies in the world and currently, they are seeking for a Chief Partnership Distribution Officer who will be in charge of developing and building the partnership distribution channel in Cambodia to achieve financial and non-financial business targets for the country. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, build and manage multi-channel distribution including Bancassurance, IFA and Brokerage business, and Direct Marketing
- Drive strategy, planning and execution of new business initiatives, including differentiated products, services and customer segmentation, to leverage on third party intermediary partnership distribution capabilities
- Accountable for achieving defined target objectives in respect of sales and profit, cost and operational efficiency, market penetration and business growth in alignment with the company direction
- Work closely with other ExCo members to facilitate channel specific sales and marketing support, operations and services delivery capabilities
- Acquire new partnership relationships and work closely with external stakeholders including business partners, banks, brokers …etc to achieve mutual benefits and profitable goals
- Establish a close and effective working relationship with the regional team, local executive team and direct reports, to foster an outstanding business culture that thrives on dynamic growth
- Inspire and engage a team of talents and quality staff through career development and ensure an effective succession planning across different levels will be in place

Other Requirements
- Internationally educated with relevant business degree qualification
- 10-15 years of general management experience and a proven successful track record of channel leadership in a high growth business environment
- A strong, savvy relationship manager with deep experience in the financial services (credit card, insurance, retail banking) institutions, as well as strong network of relevant contacts amongst the financial services community
- A strong financial background, including the ability to understand complex financial structures and transactions within the context of partnerships, alliances and joint ventures
- Proven ability to source, engage, negotiate and close highly profitable and substantive partnership development opportunities
- Comfort level with a business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) business model
