Commercial Sales Manager
Summary of Position
One of the main transportation groups in Cambodia is seeking for a Commercial Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing commercial non-aeronautical activities (including space leasing, advertising, car parking, sub-concession contracts, etc.) within the perimeter of the Business Unit, optimizing the net commercial income of non-aeronautical activities for the Airport, taking into account the overall infrastructure harmony and operational constraints, protecting the existing income and develop best-practice retail management, aligning with the policies and strategies set by the Commercial Division at the Corporate Level. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Commercial Activity Management
- Coordinate and support the implementation of new projects/ clients/ products
- Develop and maintain good communication with existing business partners
- Promote and organize the development of the airport’s unused landholdings and spacing
- Manage the commercial agreements under his/her responsibility, including the contractual and financial aspects, in coordination with the concerned internal departments
- Implement and coordinate promotional, seasonal and incentive commercial campaign within airport tenants in order to stimulate turnover and airport shopping area concept
2. Performance Monitoring and Sales Analysis
- Monthly monitor concessionaire’s sales and activities
- Ensure the performance of the contracted business partners is at a high level and the terms & conditions of the contract/agreement are followed respectively
- Report monthly on the development of commercial activities and analyse the trends and commercial KPIs
- Prepare annual budget and non-aeronautical revenue forecast
- Work with concessionaire on marketing and sales plans to maximize sales
- Follow-up and exploit the result of customers’ feedback and surveys to adjust the priorities and communicate with retailers about improvement ideas
- Receive complaints and solve the problems for the contracted operators, tenants or business partner
- Ensure that the sub concessionaires apply security rules strictly and safely
- Act as liaison between concessionaires, operational departments and airport management and participate to the relevant workgroups
3. Relationship management

- Bachelor degree in Business Development, Marketing or relevant fields. Master degree is a plus
- Good knowledge in airlines, commercial activities, shopping malls, tourism & hospitality industry would be an advantage
- Good business acumen with a commercially-driven focus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-organized, diplomatic, loyal and highly motivated person
- Innovative and can do attitude
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Offices and high proficiency with MS excel
