Construction Project Manager SLCMUL1507

Summary of Position

A new set-up Real Estate company is looking for a Construction Project Manager.

The Construction Project Manager will be in charge ofoverseeing the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.

At least 3 years experience in construction project management of medium sized developments.

Proficiency in English both speaking and writing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and review the preparations of construction method statements with construction personnel
  • Plan, organize, review, set priority, meet critical deadlines, and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and multiple projects
  • Review project data and requirements (construction drawings, technical specifications) to verify its suitability also in relation to project readiness
  • Coordinate between the construction and engineering teams ensuring that the construction requirements are conveyed to the engineering teams and that the engineering deliverables satisfy the construction requirements
  • Work together with the Contractor’s Site Manager, the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quantity Surveyor, and Technical Services Manager
  • Take part in the project management review and risk management review
  • Monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  • Recruit specialists and sub-contractors
  • Make sure that all the aims of the project are met

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
