Summary of Position
An international company operating luxury cruising boats in Peru and Cambodia/Vietnam is looking for Cruise Director.
The Cruise Director is ultimately assigned for the specific purpose of creating and delivering an exquisite overall cruise experience to all guest.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Hotel areas including the boutique to maximise profit
- Monitor the functioning of equipment and provide a high quality of on-board service
- Conduct regular rounds and inspections on all Hotel areas on a daily basis and informs the appropriate department on any situation occurred
- Ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operation on-board
- Oversee and evaluates the performance of all Hotel crew members
- Communicate the information of each cruise to the Ship Master, Head of Department Hotel area and Guides and conduct daily briefing
- Welcome guests, handle embarkation and escort them to their cabin
- Responsible for the security and health of the passengers
- Conduct and supervise safety briefings and drill for both guests and crew according to the Master's Authority instructions
- Supervise and control hygiene and cleanliness of all the passengers and employees areas
- Prepare and monitor the Paramedic's agenda according to the daily activities arranged for the guests

Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years in upscale hotels, resorts, cruise ship, entertainment or recreational industry
Minimum Career Level Required
Executive (Department Head, VP,...)
Languages Required
Fluency in English
Other Requirements
- Strong management skills and leadership competencies with an ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Capacity to multi-task and remain organised and flexible in a fast paced environment
- Problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels
- Knowledge and enforcement of HACCP | FIFO procedures for sanitation and cleanliness in all areas
