Deputy Branch Manager, Sales

Summary of Position

Our client is one of the commercial banks in Cambodia. They are looking for a Deputy Branch Manager, Sale who will be responsible for leading and overseeing daily deposit and loan operation as well as lending activities and ensuring loan key performance indicator reaches the company target; manage and build strategic relation with all stakeholders, key partners and borrowers to gain long-term business commitment. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all team members perform responsibilities with utmost honesty and integrity at all times to provide customers with an efficient, courteous and professional service;
  • Takes the lead in promoting the product particularly in conducting the client orientation.
  • Manage direct supervision over the Relationship Officer/Manager team and loans solicited by RO/RM.
  • Build good relationships with managements and staffs and local authorities at all levels in order to operate lending/deposit collection smoothly and to have strong supports from them.
  • Responsible for reviewing of loan application and help Relationship Officer(s) to close the deal with customers and solve the problems and propose solution.
  • Present credit case to competent authority for further approval of the loan.
  • Responsible for the on-the-job coaching and development of loan assessment skills of the team.
  • Conducts daily monitoring of loan accounts and settlements.
  • Responsible for the attainment of performance target of the unit.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line-manager.

  • To Branch Manager

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in the field of business, finance and banking or other equivalent.
  • At least 4 years’ working experience in banking industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to make decision in the toughest circumstances.
  • High self-motivation with strong interpersonal skill and able to motivate and convince others.
  • Good communication skills, especially with local authorities.
  • Good command of computer literacy and English language.
