Director of Sales - Agency

Summary of Position

Our client is one of the leading life insurance companies in the world and currently, they are seeking a Director of Sales - Agency who will be in charge of developing and implementing effective distribution management strategies in agency offices to achieve business goals. He/She will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize and implement agency-wide and location-based sales initiativesin order to achieve Agency location key result areas in monthly and YearlyANP achievements, number of Active LPs, activity ratio, recruitment ofnew LPs, persistency of existing business
  • Supervise and develop a team of BDHs and BDMs to achieve teamperformance effectiveness, personal career development and futuresuccession planning
  • Engage Agency Leaders and producers regularly to build strongpartnership relationships
  • Design programs and incentives to direct the sales behaviour of agencydistributors towards achieving key result area objectives
  • Enforce agency performance standards to promote business quality
  • Identify and groom aspiring agency producers to become agency leaders
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned byimmediate manager in order to meet business requirements

Reporting to

  • Chief Partnership Distribution Officer

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor or Post-Graduate degree or at least 10 years’ experience in LifeInsurance and Financial Services with significant seniormanagement/leadership experience
  • Strategic business and client development
  • Demonstrated development and execution of strategies and tactics
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Broad exposure to a combination of the following business disciplines;finance, marketing, strategy, customer service, operations, distributionand financial services products
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound understanding of insurance related financial metrics
