Western International School (WIS) is a private school located in the heart of Phnom Penh. We offer an American English curriculum to Cambodian and international students from grades Pre-K to 12. Our qualified staff members and teachers are from the United States, Canada, and other English speaking countries. We focus on delivering to students basic knowledge of English language, western social and economic development and standards, and advanced science and technology. Currently, we are looking for Foreign Kindergarten Teacher.

• Ensure that classroom and curriculum meet WIS pedagogy and standards
• Adhere to the Ethical teaching practices as set by WIS
• Evaluate and maintain complete and accurate files regarding the students’ academic progress and physical, social and emotional growth, and communicates with parents on the individual students’ progress
• Plan and evaluate daily lessons that are developmentally appropriate
• Identify the needs of students and provide continuous assessment of their ability and differentiated instruction to meet individual needs
• Provide instruction, organization and management in the classroom
• Supervise students in the classroom in a respectful and positive manner
• Initiate, plan and participate in parent conferences and other WIS events
• Fulfill other duties as prescribed by School Principal and Academic Coordinator

• Bachelor Degree in Education, Psychology or TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate
• Must be Native English Speaker or Non-native speaker
• Minimum 1 year experience in teaching young children
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work as part of a team and participate in extra mural activities
• Must be supportive of an environmentally friendly atmosphere
