Game Business Development Manager

Summary of Position

Our client is a leading digital media and entertainment group in Cambodia. Recently, they are seeking an ambitious applicant to fulfill a position Game Business Development Manager who will be in charge of researching potential online games for the Cambodian market, maintaining relationships with key partners, Developing the pricing and market strategies for sales as well as Cambodian market. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential online game for our markets
  • Engage with online/mobile game studios, negotiate and establish partnerships to bring games to market in Cambodia/SEA
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners at every level
  • Work with game operations, infrastructure, customer support and develop the team to come up with a game onboarding plan for new titles
  • Assist with the development of pricing and market strategies for in-game sales and markets
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Game Operations and other internal teams to develop a launch campaign and work across teams to execute the campaign
  • Work with customer support and game operations team to collect and understand the player’s feedback, product requests and needs, and analyze market data to clearly understand player’s perspective and trend
  • Work with game studio to run the game effectively in our markets

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years’ experience in sales or business development in online game industry
  • Deep knowledge of the game ecosystem and products
  • Solid understanding of SEA/Cambodian game market and game audiences
  • Proven ability to structure, execute and develop complex strategic partnerships that create significant value for company, its partners and stakeholders
  • Outstanding presentation skills with a strong penchant for negotiation
  • Commitment to and ability to collaborate with other teams to ensure the best use of resources (people, finance and assets) to achieve outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in multi-cultural and linguistically diverse settings
  • High level of clear written and oral communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Chinese is a plus
  • 1 Year Fixed Durations Contract
