Head of Agents and Customer Acquisition

Summary of Position

Our client is one of the leading life insurance companies in the world and currently, they are seeking a Head of Agents and Customer Acquisition who will be in charge of developing agency overall strategy, supervise execution of agency recruitment, events, and leads generation, and manage and lead all staff members within the functions. He/She will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate the execution of recruitment, events, and leads generation strategies to support agency objectives. These include 60%:

  • Implement action planning and resource distribution
  • Ensure the quality of recruitment, the productivity of leads, and organizing of events
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the functions through feedback, discussion and agency visits, as well as analysis of business outcomes
  • Provide management with regular reports regarding activities and outcomes

Collaborate with Management Team to deliver the results in the following key results areas through providing appropriate solutions and interventions 20%:

  • Value of New Business
  • Number of New and Quality Recruits
  • Annualized New Premiums
  • Number of Active FSCs
  • New FSC Activity Ratio
  • Cases per active agent per month
  • Case size per active agent
  • Number of Premier Agents and Number of Quality agencies​

Collaborates with industry associations to ensure company interest is represented. 5%

Collaborate with other functions to determine performance gaps in the agency business and identify interventions to close the gaps.10%

  • Chief Agency Officer

Other Requirements

  • Master’s degree, preferably in business and education
  • At least 7-10 years of experience including at least 3 years in senior leadership and management experience
  • HR, event management, and customer support experience will be an advantage
  • Specific Skills (Knowledge, skills and competencies/ abilities)
  • Strong leadership capability, can-do attitude, and facilitative management skills
  • Knowledge of life insurance industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • HR and recruitment background and event management expertise
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in networking initiatives and business opportunities
  • Result-oriented, committed, flexible, and self-driven individuals
