Head of Human Resource

Summary of Position

A large size commercial bank in Cambodia is looking for Head of Human Resource.

The Head of Human Resource will be in charge of covering human resources policy, benefits and compensation, strategic human resource projects and initiatives, bank-wide recruiting, and training and development. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

At least 5 to 7 years of experience in the same role at banking or financial sector.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To develop, implement and manage HR strategies and procedure in the bank
  • Manages human resources operations by establishing a recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employee
  • Carry out industry survey and advise Management on compensation trends within the industry and recommend suitable compensation strategy in terms of bonus payments/annual increment/salary adjustment
  • Able to formulate, implement and recommend necessary changes to HR policies and procedures and administer them and provide necessary assistance to line managers in policy matters
  • Develops human resources financial strategies by forecasting and anticipating requirements; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions
  • Resolve Industrial relation matters which include carrying out a proper domestic inquiry, handling disciplinary cases and representing management at Labor Court Industries/Industrial Court hearings
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
