Head Server

Summary of Position

SOVANNAPHUMI RESTAURANT & LOUNGE is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic head server, the head server will be the dining room supervisor for the establishment. The job is to provide great customer service while performing regular waiter duties, as well as managing fellow waiters.

 

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for training waitstaff on basic techniques and the specific expectations and restaurant procedures
  • Manage waitstaff - this includes creating weekly schedules, managing callouts, coordinating shift covers, assigning tasks , and disciplining waitstaff as necessary
  • Ensured all waiter duties were preformed efficiently and correctly
  • Keeping staff content with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Served customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Promoting special menu items
  • Monitored dining area to ensure best customer experiences
  • Helped customers with their inquiries and resolved issues promptly
  • Consistently checked on customers to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages
  • Effectively communicated with all staffs regarding new protocols
  • Performing opening and closing duties
  • Cooperating with the host/hostess

  • Proactive – always finds productive things to work on without being asked
