Manager of Learning and Development

Summary of Position

Our client is a subsidiary of a well-known American luxury goods retailer with operations across the globe. They are looking for a Manager of Learning and Development who will be responsible for the training and professional development of the company’s employees to help them develop their full potential. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with HR Manager advising/ updates training point of views from time to time
  • Prepare and implement learning strategies and programs
  • Review individual and organizational development needs
  • Deploy different kinds of learning methods companywide٫ such as coaching٫ job-shadowing٫ online training and so on
  • Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Collaborate with managers to develop their team members through career patching
  • Organize recruitment process and training activities
  • Supervise L&D Specialist team

Reporting to

  • Senior Human Resource Manager

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor in related or complimentary field or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years' experience of working related or other relevant position preferably in a production environment
  • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
  • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices as well as MS Office and other relevance software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills٫ with a good ability to build relations with employees
  • Fluency in English language spoken and written, strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking, and strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to create a good working atmosphere is maintained by promoting an environment of mutual respect and by ensuring that employees and problems are handled in a fair and transparent manner
