We are seeking for Medical Doctor / Pediatrician (01position).

• Provide good quality care to patients, in line with MoH protocols and guidelines
• Participate in daily rounds and take responsibility for daily rounds in the absence of the Chief of the Department
• Record relevant information in patients’ records
• Consult with the Chief of the Department about the diagnosis and treatment of severe/complicated cases
• Explain clearly to the patients regarding their illness, the prescribed treatment, and any follow-up required
• Advice patients and their families about relevant health problems and provide health education when appropriate
• Supervise nursing staff that are on duty and give advice on how they can further improve their performance, with emphasis on the quality of care and staff’s behaviour towards patients
• Make sure there is a proper hand-over/briefing when coming on duty or when finishing duty
• Implementation of infection control measures, oversee the sterilization of instruments, waste disposal, and the cleanliness/hygiene in patient wards
• Participate in relevant meetings in the phka Chhouk Pediatric Medical Center, such as monthly staff meetings and various technical meetings
• Assist in service delivery in other departments as requested and do night and weekend duty as specified in weekly/monthly work plans
• Any other task as requested by the Chief of the Department or the Director of the phka Chhouk Pediatric Medical Center and with the aim to improve the functioning of the phka Chhouk Pediatric Medical Center

• Medical Doctor or Medical Assistant
• Preferably with clinical experience in a CPA2 or CPA3 hospital
• Good interpersonal skills and able to have good relationship with colleagues and patients
