Nurse

Summary of Position

Cambodian Children’s Fund is a world leading international non-profit organization founded in 2004 which provides life-changing education, nourishment and a wide-range of community services to vulnerable children and families from some of Cambodia’s most destitute communities. We are looking for a Nurse.

A Nurse is working under direct supervision of Healthcare Manager plays important roles in taking care of the health and wellness of the patients by preparing them for examination, explaining  them how to use the medicines as per doctor’s prescription and advice, performing eye check-up, and providing regular BMI to residential kids. He/she will be required to accompany patients to outside hospitals or private clinic, follow up and report referral cases and/ or urgent cases to the Healthcare Manager.  In addition, this role will be responsible for providing health education to CCF beneficiaries, performing other assigned duties, and participating in other CCF events when needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients who come to get the medical service at the medical clinic
  • Prepare patients for examination and provide medicines to them as prescribed
  • Provide BMI to residential kids (Shelter kids) every three month and monthly for malnutrition kids
  • Accompany patients to the outside hospital or private clinic when needed
  • Provide training to CCF residential kids, community, and relevant staffs
  • Perform eye check up to CCF residential kids
  • Participate in the camping in role of nursing in province as needed
  • Update the report and send to Healthcare Manager and Healthcare officer
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Minimum Educational Level Required

Associate Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

English

Other Requirements

  • Visibly ethical, able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work
  • Nursing skill
  • Knowledge in Internet and Email
  • Knowledge in Office program, Ms. Word, Excel, etc.
  • Good communication skills
