Operation Manager (Dry Port)
Summary of Position
A Dry Port Company is looking for an Operation Manager.
The Operation Manager will be in charge of organising and managing dry port operations and staff, setting goals and strategic plans to maximize the company’s potential and implementing dry port policies along with other tasks assigned.
At least 3 years of experiences with management position particularly in Dry Port
Good command of English (writing & Speaking); Chinese is a plus
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Respect and abid by the company’s vision, mission, goals and all management policies guidelines, and quality management systems
- Ensure that the security is in place and secure in term of organizing, managing and controlling
- Make sure that the labour supply for Dry Port is met to the requirement of the work load
- Effective and efficient management and leadership of storage yard, dedicated container freight station, warehouse, stock and inventory
- Supervise directly to variety of staff such as employee and worker in dry port
- Set up and apply strategic planning to determine company, department or unit objectives
- Initiating, organizing, and leading, monitoring and evaluating the dry port operations
- Set employee goals and objectives and develop staff to maximize potential
- Monitor staff performance including performance reviews
- Delegate work duties to staff to attain objectives and allocate use of available resources
- Establish and implement Dry Port Operation policies and make sure that the staffs under supervision follow the policies implemented and the policies of Company
- Conduct training, coaching and mentoring staff
- Any other related tasks as assigned

- Bachelor degree in business administrative or equivalent
- Knowledge of warehouse, crane and other technical equipment
- Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
- Knowledge of strategic planning
- Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures: Import-Export process, logistics, freight…
- Good relationship with government authority, particularly customs and cam-control officers as well as local authority
- Able to work well in a fast paced environment and must be a team leader
- Highly responsible for work completion with accuracy and within deadline
- Team player and good analytical skills and meticulous highly proactive attitude
- Good computer knowledge Ms. Office, internet, email (outlook)
