Personal Assistant

Summary of Position

Our client is into Industrial business in Cambodia and many other countries as well. They are looking for a Personal Assistant who will assist day-to-day operations for the GM in charge. He/She will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls. Screening phone calls, inquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the line manager
  • Booking and arranging travel, visa, transport and accommodation, occasionally traveling with the line manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations
  • Organizing events and conferences
  • Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Managing databases and filing systems
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • Collating and filing expenses
  • Other miscellaneous tasks to support the line manager

Bachelor's Degree

Experienced (Non-manager)

Other Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of administration
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in General/Desktop Microsoft Applications
  • Excellent problem solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Well-developed organizational skills
