Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Pipelines Installation Foreman who will manage the overall installation work on site. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• Manager of the pressure pipelines (Ductile Iron ND 2000mm) installation site composed by: 3 Excavators (35 Tons each), 1 mobile crane (60 Tons), 30 workers, 5 Trucks 6*4, 1 flat bed truck
• The installation is composed by the following tasks to be mastered by the candidate:

o   Trench Excavation up to 7m deep

o   Installation of trench boxes or sheet piles

o   Handling and installation of the pipelines

o   Connection of the pipelines (standard push on joint or self-anchored PAMlock system)

o   Backfilling by layer including compaction

o   Removal of the trench boxes or sheet piles

o   Pouring in site of chambers (up to 6m long by 6m width by 7m deep dimensions) with concrete

• Performs complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.
• Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.
• Lays out and installs piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Marks up construction drawings and specifications with as-built status.
• Works with Foreman Manager, Engineers and Site Construction Manager to order tools, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for the group’s job requirements following company policy and process.
• Can manage his own material stock and can plan his work and stock at least 2 weeks in advance
• Works in conjunction with other crews and lead persons.
• Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.

• Pipelines Manager

• Graduate from high school, vocational school, recognized craftsman apprenticeship program or equivalent
• At least ten 10 to 15 years of experience
• Already worked in pressure pipelines installation site as a foreman/superintendent/supervisor or equivalent with a pipeline with minimum diameter 1500mm
• Ideally experience in oil and gas company
• Understanding safety course would be a plus
• English speaking and writing required and French speaking and writing is plus
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
• Ability to learn basic computer skills to communicate via email, document daily work and progress, and track procurements and status
• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety with ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
