Project Sales Executive (Datacom & UPS)

Summary of Position

Our client is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures. They are looking for a Project Sales Executive (Datacom & UPS) who will be responsible for developing sales prospects and achieving sales target by promoting the company’s product lines to System Integrators, Consultants, Developers and Government customers. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·       Acquire deep knowledge and promote selling points of the company’s Products – Racks, Accessories and UPS.

  • Understand the profile and buying needs of System Integrators, Consultants, Developers and Government customers to expand the company's support of businesses.
  • Prospect new System Integrators, Consultants, Developers and Government customers, conducting cold-calls and sales visits pipelines.
  • Promote the company’s Product line through solid sales presentation, and together with Marketing through B2B events and networking sessions.
  • Prepare Sales Forecasts Plans (Target vs Actual), etc. to the Country Manager, Cambodia ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Be responsible for preparing quotations and generating sales turnover according to targets.
  • Be a trusted partner and support to System Integrators, Consultants, Developers and Government customers.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the company’s Products – Racks, Accessories and UPS and provide training (internal/external) when required.
  • Conduct weekly sales visits to System Integrators, Consultants, Developers and Government customers and provide weekly sales visit report to Country Manager, Cambodia.
  • Provide any general reports/support as and when required.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Other Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years’ solid sales track record, preferably in Electrical Industry/Business.
  • Good knowledge of Datacom/Datacentre/Structured Cabling System.
  • Good knowledge of UPS.
  • Strong understanding of construction business value chain in Cambodia.
  • Highly energetic and fast learner, able to absorb knowledge fast, on both business and technology.
  • Strong customers-focus, an advocate of excellent customer service.
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales-driven, to meet business targets and goals.
  • Independent as well as a team player.
  • Good command of English is a must - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), internally and externally.
  • Well-versed in MS Office.
  • Proactive and resourceful, very hands-on and meticulous.
  • Possess strong can-do attitude and work ethic.
  • Possess driving license and own transport.
