Sales Manager

Summary of Position

Our client is one of the leading construction and building materials supplier in Cambodia. They are looking for a Sales Manager who will be in charge in developing annual sales and marketing plan and strategy to achieve the target. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop annual sales and marketing plan and strategy, performance plans, rigorous and objective standards for sales reps
  • Conduct market research and analysis including competitor analysis, economic indicators and industry trends and develop sale policies accordingly
  • Devises strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets
  • Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps
  • Prepare budgets and approve expenditures
  • Increase customer satisfaction ratings and create innovative programs for upselling
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Create commission, incentive or benefit programs to encourage and advise reps to improve their performance
  • Counsel, lead and support, discipline, and fire underperforming sales representatives
  • Submit monthly sales forecast and works with management to ensure good product availability
  • Inform the according to department of any changes to the customer pricing or programs as they occur
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting/ exceeding goals as an individual contributor.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences
  • Help the sales team determine which opportunities to pursue and how much effort and time to spend on various clients or leads
  • Check and control, Credit Condition or payment contract​
  • arrange for advertising, publicity and sales promotion to build brand awareness

Other Requirements

  • BA in Marketing/Finance &Banking/Accounting
  • Over 5 years of working experience as sales manager
  • Be creative to initiate the sales strategies and activities
  • Experience in prepare annual sales budget/target plan and sales activities report
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill with strong personality, ability to work under pressure and travel to provinces
  • Good in speaking and writing the English language
  • Having a high commitment and willingness to work on a long-term basis for the company
  • Ability to work overtime to complete the job. (OT will be paid)
