Senior Marketing Officer

Summary of Position

Our client is a local MFI in Cambodia. They are seeking for a Senior Marketing Officer, who will be responsible for marketing communication, public relation, branding, and designing tools, coordinating the production of those marketing tools, and participating in promoting company image through physical design, set-up, and decoration of MFI’s branches and office both interior and exterior design. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Promotion and Communication Tools Design

  • Be creative and think of new ideas and design concepts
  • Conceptualize and design all marketing and communication tools, Leaflet, Annual Report, Calendar, Dairy, Business Card, Parasol, and another needed tools to optimise the awareness of company’s brand image to stakeholder
  • Conceptualize and design layout for website and social media
  • Develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Conceptualize and design material to support various events such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and other business events
  • Conceptualize and design the office interior, exterior, consistently with the branding guideline

Marketing and Communication

  • Manage on PR work such as produce TV commercials, radio spots, develop video clips, press releases
  • Develop marketing concepts and relevant promotional materials to support building branding and increasing sales
  • Ensure brand messaging, voice and creative elements are consistent across all marketing channels
  • Develop concrete marketing strategies including digital marketing such as social media and marketing tools distribution
  • Manage and regularly update on website, Facebook page, LinkedIn, Instagram and other channels
  • Take lead on any particular events such as charity program, management meeting, workshop, career fair, etc
  • Facilitate with branches to supply on setting up of new office, office relocation, and closely monitor on office decoration
  • Contact and monitor with printing house, advertising agency, and other suppliers to produce marketing and communication tools, and to make sure the produced items are in good quality, parallel to policies and guideline
  • Consult with Admin team to ensure brochures, promotional items and other marketing-related inventory are current and available in all branches
  • Organize and manage all digital brand and marketing assets (logos, photos, videos and other creative assets), ensuring they are properly named, stored and archived

Call Centre Management

  • Hiring, training, and preparing call centre staff to respond to customer questions and complaints and troubleshoot problems with services or product
  • Develop policies, performance standards, and performance management tools
  • Compile complaints, preparing reports, and submit to line-manager
  • Working with other management team members to refine call centre management tools to maximize customer satisfaction

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Design, Art & Culture, Economic, or business administration
  • At least 2 years in graphic design, decoration, marketing and communication; experiences in microfinance industry is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Proficiency in MS office, design software, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a must. Knowledge of CorelDraw, AutoCAD, Google Sketup, Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas, Adobe Flash is a plus
  • Knowledge of design and brand principles, as well as production planning requirements, including layout, file formats, color profile, and other specifications
  • Have a good interpersonal and communication skill, team work, independent, and result-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and complexities as per a number of different projects will be implemented at the same time
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
