Senior Software Developer

Summary of Position

One of micro-finance in Cambodia is seeking for a Senior Software Developer who will be in charge of designing and developing database system, leading on data migration and provide source of advice to every department. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop database system based on business requirements and automated verification tool for reports with properly documentation of all designs and work flows
  • Lead on data migration from legacy system to new system
  • Develop appropriate computerized information systems to meet the needs of departments, units, and branch level
  • Responsible to work closely with Credit Bureau of Cambodia in data verification and uploading and B2B system and other
  • Establish and maintain all necessary information technology procedures and ensure that all systems are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals
  • Help to define IT training needs and provide training as required to ensure the most effective use of computer systems
  • Identify areas in which the introduction of new technology will improve business performance and implementation of any new systems
  • Conduct and lead user accepted test with end user to make sure that the system functionality work properly and fulfills user requirements with all possible bugs fixed
  • Develop a program of maintenance and support for all IT systems to ensure a minimum of downtime and fast resolution of any problems
  • Provide a source of advice to departments, units, and branch level on information technology issues
  • Maintain an awareness of new developments in information technology and ensure that the company makes the best use of any such developments
  • Sundry project duties as assigned

Technical support

  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical details in clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical staff
  • Update the guideline and instruction to improve the implementation
  • Strongly solving the relevant issue
  • To perform others tasks as assigned by line supervisor

Participatory Support

  • Participate the meeting scheduled by Company requirement
  • Participate in activities related to the Company need

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in computer science, technology or related fields
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in developing using Visual Basic.Net, C# programming languages
  • Experience in SQL Server database design including developing complex store procedure and SQL Reporting service, office application development and web-based technology (ASP.Net or PHP)
  • Experience on MBWin System
