Treasury Risk Supervisor

Summary of Position

Our client is a leading microfinance institution that contributes to the economic and social development of Cambodia by providing a wide range of financial services to meet the needs of the large targeted customers. Currently, they are seeking a Treasury Risk Supervisor who will be in charge of monitoring the company’s treasury risk, projects and support on the improvement of treasury practice. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Further develop risk data and calculations in close cooperation with the Treasury Department
  • Perform independent controls on treasury risk
  • Provide a valuable second opinion on risk measurement assumptions
  • Prepare and/or review treasury risk dashboards and reports
  • Run stress tests to measure risk sensitivity
  • Participate in the design and implementation of decision support tools that improve the efficiency of asset and liability management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager

Reporting to

Head of Treasury

Other Requirements

  • Degree in Finance and banking or other related fields, Master Degree is a plus advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in treasury or market environment at financial institutions or other related firms
  • Good analytical, numerical skills and experienced in data reporting
  • Good computer literacy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
