Its one of the most asked interview questions: Tell me about yourself. Your answers to these questions are crucial as it shows how you can present yourself, and how confident you are.

The way you will answer this question can influence the rest of the interview. So make sure that you have your answers prepared!

List down your strengths
Before preparing your answers, write down a list with all strengths that you can bring into job and company. Think about how you want the interviewer to see you:

I am strong in …
I have a background and proven success with …
I am always …
My colleagues honor me for …

If you are a beginner with no previous job experiences, you also can include things that you have learned in your hobbies, at university or in other experiences.

Prepare your answers
To keep focused in the job interview, prepare the order of your self-presentation. Start talking about your professional and educational background, what you enjoy about it and how you have proven success:

I have studied…and then collected strong experience in… My previous job was to…., and I especially enjoyed...With my experiences I have learned to...

Make sure that your answers are relevant for the job, and that you focus on positivity.

Practice
Now it is time to practice. Practice by yourself, and ask a friend or family member if you can practice with them. Ask them for feedback, and repeat it until you feel safe talking about yourself. The more confident you feel, the stronger you will come across in the interview!
