Document Controller

Summary of Position

Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Document Controller who will ensure project documents management system complies with project system and applied norms. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure Project document management procedures are strictly followed
  • Ensure Project deliverables format comply with Project procedures
  • Ensure record and dispatch of project deliverables through EDMS E-Project in accordance with Project procedures within deadlines
  • Review, control and ensure all new revisions of documents or new deliverables are issued in accordance with Client comments or in accordance with the Master Deliverable Register (provisional documents)
  • Ensure all documents are up to date
  • Manage and update the Master Deliverables Register and Vendor Deliverables Register (if any)
  • Follow-up documents issue, validation and update
  • Prepare weekly and monthly document control reports
  • Assist quality manager to update technical documents, administrative documents and correspondence management and codification procedures if necessary
  • Participate in audits
  • Provide user training to newcomers
  • Assist and support project users
  • Communicate and collaborate with all Project’s users to ensure adherence to the system
  • Administrate and set-up updates regarding users, users groups, documents profiles, metadata and workflows
  • Ensure update of all documentation related to EDMS management

Other Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
  • Familiar with quality management
  • Proficient typing and editing skills, and Microsoft Office
  • Independent, Rigorous, attention to details, organized
  • Communication, Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in English
