Native English Speaker Teachers

Summary of Position

The successful candidate collaborates closely with all other members of the program team to provide nurturing care and education to young students in a group setting, under the supervision of the school Vice-Principal; and in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans and the philosophy and policies of the school. Are you interested in working with children? a loving and caring person? motivated? a team player? positive? reliable? accountable? willing to learn? patient? skilled in managing your stress level? a person with initiative?

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach primary or pre-school classes in multiple topics including English, Mathematics, Science and Geography
  • Develop and maintain Balance Score program for students to assess, record and report each child’s developing skills including physical, social, emotional and cognitive
  • Provide safe and healthy environment with care and positive mental attitude for students
  • Maintain class and equipment in good condition, clean and safe to use at all times
  • Keep updating with educational technologies
  • Assist n planning, preparing, and implementing daily curriculum-based and extra-curricular activities
  • Manage and train assistant teachers
  • Establish and maintain a positive mental attitude with colleagues and parents while at school and in community

Reporting to

The School Vice-Principal

Experience Required

Post Secondary and higher education is preferred

Minimum Educational Level Required

High School or equivalent

Minimum Career Level Required

Fresh Graduate / Entry level

Languages Required

English

Other Requirements

  • Teaching experience in related area is an asset
  • Post Secondary and higher education is preferred
  • Knowledge in Child development and early education theories and practices is preferred
  • Native English speaker
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Interested in working with children, being a loving and caring person, motivated, a team player with positive mental attitude, reliable, accountable, willing to learn, patient, and killed in managing your stress level
