Sales and Marketing Officer

Summary of Position

MJQ Education PLC: Currently, we are looking for a Sales and Marketing Officer.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Yearbook Project
  • Alumni Project
  • Web development, content and design
  • Digital Branding/Marketing especially Facebook
  • Finding a Sponsor by working collaboratively with the Event Planner
  • Technological advancement training
  • Ensure compliance with school’s policies
  • Drumming up all school events
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Creative/Artistic Designer
  • Creating an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty and improving market share
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Managing the content diary for social media content.
  • Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.
  • Other Tasks assigned by Line Managers (Head Principal and Madam President)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Design or related discipline
  • Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, After Effects (Basic), Dimension, specifically with mockups, web design, and multimedia presentation
  • Expat people are encouraged to apply
  • 3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
  • Experience working with Online Web applications and templates
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
  • Knowledge of graphic fundamentals, print and web capabilities, as well as marketing and advertising principles, are beneficial.
  • Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (in Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Design Experience, Dimension)
  • Proven working experience in web development
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proven graphic design experience.
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects.
  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Adaptive design eye and skill
  • Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
  • Able to travel on his/her own.
  • Possess the ability to communicate and interact with the team effectively.
  • Directly reports to Madam President and Head Principals.
