Specialist, Compensation & Benefits

Summary of Position

The role is to manage full cycle of the company payroll process, monitor compensation & benefits programs or plans, and work closely with all business units to ensure payroll policies and procedures are aligned with those of the Group HR.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor compensation and benefits programs and ensure their effectiveness and efficiency within the company context.
  • Develop and propose compensation and benefits plans and other reward and recognition programs to attract and retain talent.
  • Control, maintain, and update personnel information in the database.
  • Support the IT team in implementing HR software applications such as payroll transaction system.
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure that payroll policies and procedures are aligned with those of the Group HR.
  • Work closely with the heads of business units or functions to manage the performance appraisal system.
  • Lead and manage team members by coaching, setting goals and targets, establishing individual development plans, and providing training and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Required

At least 1 year of experience in payroll

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Khmer and English

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in payroll  
  • Experience in SAP Payroll system is preferred
  • Knowledge of tax on salary, Cambodian labor law and/or Cambodia union law
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced level in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Ability to work under pressure
