Accounting and Administrative Officer

A leading Southeast Asian regional law firm with over 120 lawyers and consultants practicing in Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, and Yangon is looking for an Accounting and Administrative Officer.
The Accounting and Administrative Officer will be in charge of running office administration and ensuring the financial processing.
Minimum 2-3 years book keeping/book closing experience.
Good command of spoken and written English.

- Responsible for timely, accurate and complete tax/accounting, payroll, human resources matters, and general administrative tasks
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax returns within deadline
- Close the accounting book within deadline and work with the external auditor regarding the company’s account
- Meet and coordinate with tax officials when required
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll tax and social security within deadline
- Prepare timely expense report and financial report to Bangkok office’s Accounting dept
- Review clients’ instructions/assignments and alerting to the responsible consultants
- Process time sheets, payment vouchers, and other records in a timely manner
- Handle Petty cash for the office and client expenses
- Go to the banks for the financial and banking related matters
- Assist Consultants on preparing documents and filing of client’s intellectual property; registration with the responsible government office
- Perform other essential administrative/secretarial tasks as assigned and liaise with headquarters on all administrative tasks

- Able to operate accounting software program, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
- Good service mind and patience; and high accountability and diligence
- Can work late to meet the deadlines of billing, tax, book closing, financial reports, and other assignments
