The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is a research and public utility under the patronage of the State of Cambodia. It belongs to the International Network of Pasteur Institutes with whom it develops ongoing collaborations.

In collaboration with 3 other countries, the Public Health and Epidemiology Unit of Institut Pasteur in Cambodia is conducting a research study aiming to determine the best algorithm to diagnose tuberculosis in HIV infected children.

We are looking for a Data Manager-Analyst would include extensive data extraction and cleaning of the study database, the edition of automated requests for data cleaning in a friendly format, the sending of these queries to study sites and the follow-up of replies from study.

• Work closely under the supervision of the Biostatistician of the study to clean the data from the database using STATA preferably (R also possible)
• Edit the requests based on data cleaning findings
• Send the requests to all study sites
• Follow up replies to requests
• Feedback to the Clinical Research Leader Team; The Methodology Coordinator and the Biostatistician
• Train some coordination study staff on data-management

The successful candidate must have a demonstrated interest in data-management applied to clinical research, as well as willingness to work in an International and developing countries context. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful and energetic self-starter with the ability to manage priorities and work autonomously. The candidate must speak English, be a team player who embraces the mission of Institut Pasteur, is highly motivated and enthusiastic. All candidates must be available to start on the indicated start date (September 1, 2014) and be eligible to work in Cambodia (visa).

• Must be familiar with STATA or R software
• Data-manager/ data analyst, preferably with a background in data management of clinical research studies
• Must be able to clean data and analyze and interpret data
• Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Must have the ability to work effectively with various personalities and cultures
