Division Manager (Cable)

Our client is a young and fast growing company in Cambodia that mainly focuses on the distribution of Cables, Chemicals, Cranes, Pumps and turf & irrigation systems as well as other products that are related to the agricultural and construction industry. They are looking for a Division Manager who will be responsible for the overall operational management of the entire division and all its subsidiary departments and units. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

  • Account for the full Profit and Loss for the entire division which includes preparing and recommending yearly sales and operating expense budgets and overseeing them at all times
  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans and strategies based on RBU/country strategy maps/ initiatives and market research findings for existing products, new products and developing products
  • Conduct regular internal meetings with other members of the division in order to align and review the budget, strategy and any other important issues to achieve the sales and cost targets
  • Train, develop, supervise, motivate and lead the division members and equip them with sound product knowledge, systems, strategy and selling skills to ensure effective implementation of the RBU/Company/department strategy in order to derive optimal performance
  • Ensure regular customer visits in order to maintain a good relationship with them and to gain a clear understanding of their needs & requirements
  • Maintain close communications with principals overseas to seek advice on problems relating to product quality and provide information on local market situation
  • Assure timely submission of CRM weekly call targets & reports for the team as well as monthly reports to the MD
  • Ensure proper stock planning so as to maintain optimal stock level for smooth operation and approve purchase orders for stock control
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and ensure collection target is met so as to ensure Company’s profitability
  • Maintain a good relationship with the Group regional team that interacts with your field of responsibility
  • Coordinate budgets and any major decisions with the Group’s regional team
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Company Management from time to time
  • Provide all necessary support to the Group’s regional team
  • Provide support to the EHS team and ensure that the EHS policies and guidelines are being followed with in the division
  • Create and maintain fair, democratic, and good working environment
  • Maintain a cohesive and stable workforce together with Company Management
  • Dedication to special tasks assigned by General Manager and /or Regional Managing Directors
  • Create structures and mechanisms to ensure a smooth operation of the overall division that further allows growth
  • Develop new ideas and strategies constantly to grow the activities within your field of responsibility
  • Manage the division and the working capital employed efficiently
