Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for preparing technical drawings of electrical systems of an industrial plant. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using CAD to convert specifications and design information from process engineers into schematics line diagrams and detailed engineering drawings
• Collect, study and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from process engineers into coherent technical drafts for further study and review by discipline engineering manager
• Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment of the industrial plant, power substations and ancilliary buildings according to project objectives, design information and engineering specifications
• Check that final technical drawings include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and verify that calculations, measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers
• Review technical drawings as needed according to verbal or written instructions from project managers, engineering team and clients
• Manage and update electrical consumer list with support of discipline engineer
• Manage and update I/O list sith support discipline engineer
• Participate in design process by supporting engineers and designers, contributing ideas and information and creating rough sketches and diagrams of electrical wiring and systems on the fly
• Assist designers and project managers as needed in preparing technical documents and presentation slides for meetings with clients and investors, and help sales team create materials for tradeshows and conferences
• Extract all relevant information in vendor specifications provided by the engineering team

• Technical Manager

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineer, Drafting or CAD, or 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of electrical circuitry and design
• Draft experience related to electrical substation design
• Good in English is a must
