Our client is one of the leading companies specializing in F&B retail and they are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. The Financial Analyst will be in charge of researching and analyzing financial information in order to assist the company in making well informed decisions and monitor financial movements. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• Analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
• Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
• Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
• Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

• To the Finance Manager

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA preferred
• 2-3 years in a similar position such as auditing, financial analysis or accounting.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles
• Must have strong MS Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
• Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
• Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
• Strong personality with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership
• Experience in one of the ‘Big Four’ is a plus
• Proficiency in English & Khmer
