About our Company:

We are a Cambodian startup company looking for a Khmer to fill this position. We have other software products under development, this position is an important one, and I would like it to turn into a full-time permanent position. This position is for someone with a desire to learn, if you don’t have all the experience above, but have a desire to learn and be a part of a team, we would love to hear from you.

Title: Moodle Administrator (Software Development)

Remuneration:

• Hourly stipend to be determined by your experience level. This is an intern position that is paid. We expect after one year; all of the Job Responsibilities mentioned above, you will be junior to a mid-level developer.

• Oversee the online learning platform to ensure uptime, performance, stability, usage and change control that supports the student learning experience
• Perform system maintenance (version upgrades, plugin installations) to ensure optimal performance
• Manage site back-ups and recovery processes
• Ensure accurate technical integration with the School’s (our client) internal/external systems in collaboration with our Moodle software developers
• Be a liaison between the development team and the CEO
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively within, taking a leading role in collaborative projects

You will report to the founder of the company.

• Knowledge or experience with ©Moodle Learning Management System (LMS)
• Knowledge or experience with Linux Bash (via SSH), SQL (MySQL Workbench) and phpMyAdmin
• Knowledge of Python and/or PHP
• Knowledge or of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Laptop (not more than 3 years old)
• Available at least three (2) days a week. We have a modern office setup utilizing coworking space. You will have your own space throughout the facility on two levels
